Verrus Debuts Online Parking Payment for New Wembley Stadium

Usage of innovative online parking service surpasses expectations

London, UK and Vancouver, Canada -- August 2, 2007-
wembleyVerrus, a leading provider of mobile commerce payment systems, is pleased to announce it was selected as the online parking solution provider for National Car Parks Park and Ride scheme, in partnership with London Underground and Wembley stadium. Patrons have been using the new service to pre-book their parking spaces online at nearby London Underground car parks for a guaranteed parking spot and arrive at their stadium event on time.

The new online service has been in operation since May 2007 for high profile events such as the FA Cup Final, Concert for Diana, and Live Earth concert. The initial usage has surpassed expectations with a recent milestone of 5,000 bookings. National Car Parks (NCP) operates car parking on behalf of London Underground and developed the Park and Ride service for Wembley Stadium, using the Verrus online parking service.

With very limited parking available at Wembley stadium, stadium goers can now go online to pre-book their parking spaces and simply ride the tube to the stadium. Patrons can avoid the disappointment of oversold lots and the hassle of finding premium parking spaces. There are designated spaces for customers who booked online, and the parking attendants have the driver's information, including car license, in their handheld devices.
